Meet the Heart Behind
Brave Nest
Founded by Caroline Jones, a Pediatric Nurse and Play Therapy Specialist who understands the unique challenges families face during medical journeys.

There is a kind of quiet you never forget. The hush of hospital corridors late at night. The click of monitors. The soft sigh of a parent sitting in the darkness, holding their child’s hand and searching for hope.

For years, this was my world. As a pediatric nurse, I cared for children in every stage of illness and recovery. But what struck me most were not just the medical battles. They were the invisible ones. The ones families faced when the lights dimmed, when doctors left, and all that remained were big feelings and bigger fears.

I saw parents trying to be brave for their children, even as anxiety crept in. I saw kids growing more fearful of the very people trying to help them. I saw families doing their best, but still feeling completely alone.

These moments stayed with me. I realized healing is more than medicine. Parents and children need emotional tools, reassurance, and a place where someone understands what it is like to walk this path.
That is why I became a Play Therapy Specialist. And that is why I built Brave Nest.

Brave Nest is not just a website or a resource. It is a community. It is where clinical knowledge meets empathy, where families can learn, connect, and grow. With an online platform, I can reach parents in every corner of the world. No one should feel isolated when facing medical challenges.

Here, you will find practical strategies, trauma informed support, and gentle encouragement for every step of the journey. Whether you are in a hospital room or at home, you are not alone. Brave Nest was created so that every family has a place to land, rebuild, and move forward together.

Welcome. This is your nest, too.
